Monterrey is considered "the city of mountains" as well as Mexico's industrial capital. The Sierra Madre, Cerro de las Mitras, Topo Chico and El Mirador all surround Monterrey making it a beautiful place to hold a business meeting or visit for the view and attractions. The Gran Plaza (see Zona Rosa map) is thought to be one of the world's largest public squares with many monuments and sculptures to view. Visit the Barrio Antiguo (Old Quarter) on the plaza for live music, shops and fantastic restaurants.
